Important warning to all.
While this product is a nifty toy and everyone has already commented on the finite number of variations that you can make, there is something that buyers should take into account. Some early reviews state that you can put in more than one “crystal” to get a third color; ex. red and blue make purple. This is no longer the case. Hasbro has changed the programming and you can only get red, blue or green; no color combinations. To be honest, this was the selling factor for me, so I was quite disappointed to discover this.
All in all, the product is fun and a great addition to your Jedi arsenal, but just know that you will not be able to that beautiful purple blade you may desire.
A concerned Jedi.

Amazon did not ask me to review the other product I bought and returned which they then charged me a $90 restocking fee, I no longer will be a customer of Amazon again, quite the rip off.

I bought this game for my nephew, who is almost 5. He is a very active child and I thought this game would help him use up some of his engery. It is a fun game that everyone can play together, even adults play this game with him. He really enjoys using it.

I’m sure this is a fine toy, but am angry with Amazon about the packaging.
From the description, I didn’t understand that basically I would be receiving toy parts and instructions loose inside a plain cardboard Amazon shipping box.
So I can’t give this as a gift to my nephew (as I had planned), since it doesn’t have a proper box. If I keep it for my own kids, I’m going to have to store it in a ziploc bag or something. Of course, the cardboard shipping box is labelled with the name of the toy on the outside, so my 10 year old has already seen what it is.
I now understand why the sales price was so low. Amazon has exchanged the frustration of excess packaging with the frustration of inadequate packaging.

Got this for my son’s 8th birthday. Interest was short-lasting. Not really sure why. Maybe he was too old for it. It is definitely durable. I’m bummed that it wasn’t a better hit!
