@joevictor53 good shooter, or plat-former, army game, sports, racing, puzzle, or innovative game every 2-3 years (that being a very generous over statement), but why is it that the games like golden eye are only out once every 10 years?
Every year theres a few for each category that value the game. Just off the top of my head avatar game was terrible. Its a humor category that had its day but now it is what it is. That is why I think those games are not good because their contrained 2 movies
@joevictor53 With that said there is an obvious reason why people cringe at games based on movies, and why we must admit the only thing worse then games based on movies…are movies based on games. Its basically a cash crop that these games are made to be sold not enjoyed. E3 just passed did you see one games based on a movie, that people take seriously, and this years E3 was terrible to begin with. Yes there are exceptions like golden eye every 2-3 years, but imagine if there was only one
@joevictor53 but its not a good game either. Games should be original and not just rip off of hollywood blockbuster to just help cash in for the movie. Their not required to be good because they will sell simply because a film is attached to it and essentially is just another form of advertisement for the movie.
Taking those specific 3 games you picked the strongest ones to represent your point, with the exception of golden eye which is a superb game and has become a historical N64 FPS.
@joevictor53 no matter what I say will change your opinion and whatever I do say you will just combat back with. So we will do that dance until its over. All that aside King Kong got a 3/5 and ign (whos notoriously generous for ratings gave it 8 out of 10) its not a terrible games but its an ok game made specifically to help cash in on a movie. Toy story 2 got a 6 out of 10 from IGN. Spider man 2 got in the 7′s from everyone except ign gave it an 8….like i said its not bad…
